Cars photographed as objects rather than as events. Studio, location and detail work for manufacturers, specialists, restorers and private owners — Porsche, Aston Martin through Nicholas Mee & Co, the Concours of Elegance at Hampton Court Palace. An automotive shoot is an exercise in controlling light on a surface designed to reflect it. I shoot for form first: the line of a wing, the way a paint reacts at dusk, the detail a designer spent a year on. Aviation work asks the same discipline, and I photograph for HQ Aviation. Campaigns, launches, catalogues and private commissions. London based, available worldwide.
